Bar G&G – Vérone (Italie)
Le résumé
It’s definitely not a bar that would be called trendy, it’s more of a bar where anyone can feel comfortable; gays are welcome here, even though this is a conservative with skinheads.
Le lieu
It’s located on via Fama, which is a pretty pedestrian street, two steps from Piazza dell Erbe, the main square, where you can see the Venetian bourgeoisie show themselves at happy hour.
At G&G people lounge around peacefully, friends chat, dogs are around, it’s relaxed.
L'équipe
The boss is nice, I had a hard time understanding him at first, but everything worked out well in the end, the person behind the bar was nice as well.
I like the boss’ blurb on his Facebook page : « Ciao, sono Gianni Melchiori e gestisco il Bar G&G ormai da più di 20 anni, per la precisione dal giugno del 1988, anno in cui è nato il G&G. Mi trovate in via Fama, 6 nello stupendo centro storico di Verona, a due passi dalla famosa Piazza Erbe. »
Le repas
Everything is better with some good drinks.
The antipasti buffet wasn’t bad at all, partly because there were also some vegetables, gives us a momentary break from carbohydrates. The photo shows the end of the war, there’s almost nothing left, there were some carrots and cucumbers earlier, a vegetable soup of sorts.
Le bilan
A good spot to start the night in a warm atmosphere, far away from tourists.
