Kemeri National Park (Latvia)

Summary

It was established as a national park in 1997 in order to protect its nature, but also for its mineral water springs, as well as its therapeutic mud. It’s Latvia’s first natural field to have received a European award for sustainable tourism.

When the reception desk is closed, tourists can go to the administration one which is open year round.

You can leave the kids in the house when it’s raining , they have educational games on the forest, which are very well done.

La spécialité du parc est l’eau soufrée naturelle. Le printemps est la meilleure période pour voir les oiseaux. Le parc est d’une beauté à couper le souffle. Je préfère laisser parler les photos. The park’s specialty is its natural sulfur water. The spring is the best time to birdwatch. The park is breathtakingly beautiful. I prefer letting the pictures speak for themselves.

Here’s an interesting article on Latvia’s parks and bogs.
