Galerija “Laipa” – Valmiera (Latvia)
Summary
Here’s an atypical place, an art gallery and spot where local products are sold, the father and daughter are running it. You don’t expect coming across something of this magniude in Valmeria, and yet, here it is, and that’s actually what I like about this city, it’s artistic, creative, and young side.
The same concept as the Riija store can be found here in Riga, but even cheaper.
The venue
Events can be organized here, you can also buy local goods, pictures, etc… It’s a very original place, perfect for buying quality souvenirs.
For my part, I went straight for the Valmeria sweat shirt.

I really liked these candles, and I bought one, unfortunately they don’t have a very strong smell, but they stay very pretty.
You can also buy some local bands’ cds, or bands from the Baltic states, Evert & The Two Dragons is the folk group from Tallinn that everyone likes 🙂
