A really nice looking bar, in which we feel well at ease.
Good beverage selection, particularly a superb whisky list!
The venue
It’s actually a huge place, even though you don’t realize it at first, because the space is well divided up. There’s a room upstairs.
The meal
There are excellent whiskies, I know my whiskies pretty well, and I was impressed.
For the beer, I followed my Romanian friends’ advice.
Nenea Iancu
It’s a delicious blond beer, Nenea means “Uncle”, Nenea Iancu was Ion Luca Caragiale’s nickname, considered one the biggest Romanian playwright, as well as one of the biggest Romanian writers, and he had a passion for beer ( if I understood correctly)
Really good blond beer.
Someone that came with us took the pasta, which had a really good fresh pasta look, homemade.
As a gift there was a wooden spoon that we could bring back with us, it is now in my kitchen.

Great spot to start the night this Pardon Café.
